SoS Gessler: Here's some Real - and Republican - Voter Fraud

by: Zappatero

Fri Jan 13, 2012 at 19:45:40 PM MST

Scott Gessler has famously attempted to make an issue of voter fraud in Colorado. He has lied, obfuscated, prevaricated, and shut-the-hell-up at various times to try to prove his bogus point and follow the lead of the Koch Brothers, ALEC, and various anti-democratic Republicans who insist on creating a solution for a problem that doesn't exist.

Why, Republican Secretary of State Scott Gessler even resorted to disenfranchising active service members fighting for his rights overseas:

"Mr. Gessler's misguided efforts now threaten voter suppression not only in Denver County but among members of our armed services, men and women on active duty in war zones. His misinterpretation of the law is not only illegal but deprives Colorado citizens of their most fundamental right: the right to vote..."
Soldiers, please take note: It is quite possible Republicans only support you when you're overseas killing foreigners, and not when you are in the voting booth exercising your rights. It seems the actual amount of voter fraud in the nation is about the same rate as Americans struck and killed by lightening. I don't have personal knowledge of any case of either. What are the odds of that?

Well, as one of the Testaments, and Gino Vanelli, said, "seek and ye shall find." It seems we have a recent, well-documented case of voter fraud in a recent primary. This one is courtesy of Fox News agitator and Convicted Probationary Republican James O'Keefe:

New Hampshire town officials have called James O'Keefe's arrest and prosecution for voter fraud, stemming from the stunt he engineered during Tuesday's primary there, attempting to demonstrate that voter fraud existed by conspiring with colleagues to commit voter fraud.
Bingo, there's the voter fraud Scott Gessler has been looking for all this time: it's Republican, carries a video camera, uses the name of a recently deceased person, and is still on parole for other violations of the law.

If you need more help finding fraud, Secretary, let me know. I think we can help you out.
