Usually a caucus effort is to rally and organize a message and a plan. But what could it possibly be? Is it yelling the word socialist louder? Maybe they'll revive the "M" word like it's something to fight about. Perhaps they could rail against "government interference" while being members of the government AND interfering with things like the census which Bachmann told her constituents to not fill out and then the moron changed her tune when someone told her that would put her job at risk.
As of now, it's just a nasty show of misguided whiteys.
I don't have a picture of the new billboard but Maes is what trumps white, used car salesmen rage?
Now it's a Dan Maes billboard.
Who else automagically doubts anything or anyone espoused by a Republican simply because it comes from a Republican pie hole (or billboard pie in the sky)?
After years of relative silence around some of our most savage government policies, America sees a black President and a sea change to blue and how does she he respond? With a surge of irrational fear that can best be explained by a perceived threat to the collective unconscious of white privilege.
I watch the demonstrations, the actions, and the propaganda of these raging consumers and have to ask "why now? Why not earlier? What is threatening these people?" and I conclude it must be some triggered deep-seated shame that is fed by FOX and friends and the safety such institutions provide with their lack of confrontation.
So I say thank you, Michael Bennet. I'm sure you were at Hamburger Mary's (right?) when you said this, which is safe territory, but seriously, right on.
