Of course, our current spineless Democrats in Washington, DC, would never propose such a common-sense and popular set of policies:
Double make work pay, fully implement American Jobs Act, Income Tax Rebate, add the Public Option to Obamacare, Increase the Payroll (Social Security) tax cap, Increase the gas tax, use carbon pricing, and extending the payroll tax cut/unemployment benefits until unemployment is at 5%.
Republicans would call them mean names even as Republicans propose that programs like Meals on Wheels for Seniors, Head Start, expanded unemployment benefits be slashed and Obamacare is fully repealed.
