The ad purporting to push our senators to protect the Big 3 - Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security - during upcoming budget negotiations somehow forgot to put Social Security in the message and substituted "Education". (Go to :22.)
"...protecting Medicare, Medicaid, and Education from cuts."
Republicans certainly do want to cut education, and just about everything else that doesn't help the 1%, but the biggest concern right this second is the social safety net and the large number of legislators, including Democrats, who are prepared to balance the budget on the backs of the Middle Class.
Are the groups supporting this message giving a pass to Mark and Michael in their desire to cut a program that doesn't affect the debt and can be fixed with a simple raise of the salary limit? |
