If Obama is a Blue Dog then he's a Fool

by: Zappatero

Wed Sep 26, 2012 at 20:45:45 PM MST

President Obama acting like, and saying the same stupid crap as, Mark Udall is a good way to betray Democratic voters and lose the next election, or in Obama's case, throwing the House and Senate back to the R's for a generation:
"I'm a blue dog." - President Barack Obama

Udall, in "DC Conventional Wisdom", Pandering-to-yet-another-CNBC-Host mode:

Mark Udall has said he'd gladly lose his job over a vote for Simpson-Bowles and its irrational and unneeded cuts to our safety net. Mark, please uphold your word on this - tomorrow if possible. But before you quit politics, tell the president about Blue Dog Dems in Colorado. Tell him about the ignominious losers John Salazar and Betsy Markey. Tell him John was so afraid to stand up for principle he once tried to have us believe he wasn't really a Democrat. He was voted out of office the next election.

Here's the latest Obama ad that may have some discernable hints regarding the Grand Bargain:

Senator Udall, please tell President Obama a Blue Dog Dem is a Losing Dem in Colorado. It's the least you can do.

Zappatero :: If Obama is a Blue Dog then he's a Fool
Michael Bennet lying about the public option.

Mark Udall lying about social security.

A HUGE NO SHIT!!
I do not see our two senators doing the right thing - not for a second. When they start doing the right things they will have my support. Until then they are my enemy and should be many others enemy as well. These two men are not on our side.

Congrats to Fong and her alter ego Zappatero for sponsoring such lively self-debate!

Ray, you've repeatedly demonstrated
that you're an intellectual coward. I know you're hurt about something I can't recall, but the truth you would be happy if Squarestate had the money and influence of ProgressNow and the Colorado Non-profit industrial complex to help promote a partisan-at-any-cost "debate", then we could win over the puppets who want to work in said complex, to come over and think they're doing something by filling the comments with echoes or half-assed attacks, right?

I guess this is the part where I say that I'm not interested in faux-activism.

But thanks for stopping by :)
