Marc Holtzman may be off the primary ballot. He even endorsed Bob Beauprez, but his legacy lives on.
From the Progress Now Action email:
To kick off our new project http://BothWaysBob.org , We've compiled a slideshow of six film clips from Congressman Bob Beauprez's speech announcing his run for Governor. Since then, we have researched Congressman Beauprez's record on the very issues he highlighted in his announcement.
For each slide we provide the facts about Beauprez's record on issues important to Colorado. Simply click 'Play' under any of the images to watch him talk about the issue and then read the facts that follow the film clip. For each you will see why Beauprez has earned the nickname "Both Ways Bob" -- for saying one thing and doing another.
To borrow some framing from a commenter named 'Out of Africa' at ColoradoPols:
What a contrast this provides….Bill Ritter went to Africa to help the sick and the starving when he came of age, then came home to go to work putting the bad guys in jail.
Both Ways studied to be a gym teacher, then sold big chunks of the family farm to developers to turn into a golf course and upper middle class residential housing.
The choice: Hard-working Bill Ritter and his "American Dream" story, or Both Ways Bob--the prodigal son.
