Passive House is a wood house project by a studio from France, Karawitz Architecture in Bessancourt, France with ‘Passiv Haus Institut’ certification. This modern house has natural concept with arrangement of bamboo sticks cover up around the building include its prism roof with solar panels on a side.
The luxuriant green landscape and decorative white gravel around the building make this house looks natural and refreshing. This house has simple design outside, but actually, it has a great eco-friendly system by using natural resources for both exterior and interior.
Bamboo sticks are arranged and cover up all the side outside the building. Although it has simple wood house design, but the trellis arrangement of bamboo hide the glass walls behind. This bamboo, beside to make inside the house looks shady and safe from the sharp sunlight, bamboo are not causing any pollution to the air, instead they add the aesthetical sides.
Concrete floor spread out inside the house on the first floor and harmoniously at the side of crude wood wall and also ceiling. Luminous round floor lamp, artistic stand lamp, and straight lighting set at the edge of the room above white wall that overlook to glass wall with bamboo trellis. Light green sectional sofas with green nuance pillows with slight white table in the middle of the room decorate the plain concrete floor below.
Beside the living room, without any separations, white furniture decorates the corner side of the room as a kitchen. It has white side flat stove with metal accents and white slight chairs surround a white dining table.
White kitchen shelves overlook to them with lighting under cabinets and opaque glass cover for easier considering which one is the right cabinet that want to open without make the cabinets look messy cause many things inside the cabinets. Bamboo outside and crude wood inside with concrete and pretty lighting result a great combination for a modern wood house with eco friendly concept.
