Drew House is a tube house project of a cabin in 2010 by a studio from Australia, Simon Laws Anthill Constructions on Queensland coast, Australia. This is a holiday house for a photographic artist from Australia, Marian Drew and family. The material of woods and wavy iron sheets complete this luxury campsite with a tube shape building and a wooden deck that result a unique but artistic building with calmly lighting in the middle of luxuriant environment.
A long deck connects the entrance of this cabin to a terrace with the same wooden cladding as the deck. Besides the building with tube house design, a round shape terrace sits below wide iron sheet roof, without any fences for having the real open and outdoor living that close to nature, wooden long benches and round dining table with black slight chairs around with Scandinavian hanging lamps above decorate this humble and cozy terrace.
Glass sliding doors connect this terrace to a tube shape building beside with white wall interior and wooden propeller side at the corner of this tube. Glossy wooden floor covers up this space that divide into two different areas according to their functions.
The edge tube, in front of the propeller, moss green sectional sofas with wooden coffee table and wall mounted wooden shelves decorate this living room area. A wooden kitchen table with steel stove and a wooden glass and plate racks decorate and fill the kitchen on the opposite side.
A bathroom lies beside the kitchen. It has stone tiles patch on the floor and wall with earthy ceiling and wooden beams with oblique painted glass cover this bathroom as the temporary wall from the outdoor area.
A deck connects this bathroom to a bedroom with two double size beds and hidden wardrobe on the wall in a rectangular building. It has glass wall overlook to the forest with wooden floor and wooden ceiling complete this minimalist bedroom for accentuating and giving ideas to interior designs of homes for the real natural living.
