House District 22 is in play. Lakewood Attorney Chris Radeff (D) will be challenging incumbent Ken Summers (R).
The district, which straddles Hampden between 470 and Sheridan, has a Republican registration advantage, but independents have been skewing heavily Democratic. Past challengers have picked up 47-48% of the vote.
A Political Science graduate of the University of Northern Colorado, Ms. Radeff proceeded to the University of Denver, College of Law. On graduating, Ms. Radeff began work with Project Safeguard, an organization committed to the development and enforcement of sanctions against batterers while providing assistance and guidance to battered individuals. While there, Ms. Radeff rose quickly to become the Project Coordinator for the 18th Judicial District, working closely with victims to aid them through the court process.
