Ken Buck Crashes Romanoff's Party But Won't Take Questions???

by: Fong

Fri Aug 27, 2010 at 00:57:20 AM MST

This evening Andrew Romanoff held a birthday party in part to help retire his campaign debt and for some reason, Ken Buck, in a classless, antagonistic move crashed the party. Attendees who wanted to take the opportunity to question Buck's policies (and sanity) say Buck wouldn't answer any questions.

Who the f#(k does this prick think he is to walk into a hornets nest and then thumb his nose at honest questions?

What a coward. I wonder if Buck will ever prove Norton's questioning his manhood wrong. So far it seems that's the only thing she's been right about.

Ken Buck crashes Romanoff party
Of the course the man (a/k/a/ arrogant a**)won't answer questions.   Like the rest of the GOP, he has no plan, no answers, no nothing.

I am an unemployed, Independent voter in CO. I supported Romanoff and still believe he is the better candidate to represent CO.  Sadly, because of what the WH and DNC and the rest of the Democratic machine did in their intereference in the Colorado primary, I am faced with a real un-welcomed dilemma regarding the upcoming mid-term elections.

I don't want to support Bennet.  Period.  But, as an unemployed voter in the State (which is expected to see an increase in the unemployment rate from it's current level of 8% to 9.2%), who has exhausted all UI benefits and does not qualify for any public assistance because I'm not disabled, elderly or otherwise in a 'protected class' and have no children under the age of 18 - I have no safety net below me.  I have a BS in Finance, several years of professional experience and after 2 years, No job - jobs don't exist as I once knew them and held them.

However, if Ken Buck is elected - and if the Republicans gain control in either house, I, along with tens of millions of unemployed, middle class citizens will be one step closer to living on the streets or in a shelter.

So what is my option?  Vote for M Bennet - exactly what the Dems want and expect.  Ken Buck showed once again he has no class, no plan, no comment, no nothing - just like the rest of the 'Mitch McConnell & Co,' good ole' boys club on Capitol Hill.

Politics as usual, at the expense of the unemployed middle class.

political opportunism for Dagett/Buck both
let's be honest here -- both wanted to grab some headlines.  Dagett of course wants the image of party unity.  Buck wants the image of anything but.  Given that Buck's appearance got some press (the Spot was rather mixed on the effect, but still), looks like he was at least partially successful.

Classy of both of them to go and write checks, but let's not be mistaken about the interests of either.

Sorry Michael Bennet, but I'm a real person too

Buck took questions
He probably wasn't able to answer all of them to the satisfaction of all the questioners, but he answered questions for a good 20 minutes.

What a guy
Ken Buck displayed his true character by what he did.

The man who was prone to more gaffes in the Senate election by far than anyone else made yet another one.

In a room full of 400 + people who were seriously considering not supporting Bennet because of the contentious primary, he managed to turn a vast majority of them into Bennet supporters because of this little stunt.

He showed his true character, and if he is elected this is the kind of person Colorado gets for 6 years.

That was my thought as well
He's helping to solidify the Romanoff loyals into Bennet voters.

The people I spoke to who were at the party were either shocked or disgusted, and shock soon turns to disgust.

His only talking points are no plan of action slogans about shrinking government while moralizing government (amendment 62) which is exactly the kind of bigger government his supporters fear (if they weren't sexist, racist, and classist).
