Still thinking of running for office in Colorado? Are you working for a campaign?
The Colorado Local Progressive Candidate Training Program is designed to help individuals develop the skills and resources they need to advance progressive change through local elected office.
The program is for individuals who: (1) are planning or considering to run for an elected office in the near or distant future or (2) are or will be serving as campaign managers for a local elected office...
The Colorado Local Progressive Candidate Training Program is sponsored by the Center for Progressive Leadership, the White House Project and the Colorado Education Association.
One sticking point, for legal reasons you can't have declared for office. If you've read about my very limited writing in the longer term Center for Progressive Leadership (I really should provide more updates), it's supposed to be similar, more compact and targeted specifically for campaigns. The deadline is in the few days, so make up your mind and get on it! |

In the regular CPL program we've done training on values, messaging, personal narrative (the Obama strategy), and fundraising. The remaining sessions will be on campaign planning, and collaborative leadership. Just the feedback on some of my plans and strategery has been invaluable. Yes, still super secret. But, if you've had any in person conversations with me recently you'll know what I'm talking about.
