Internet nose jobs -- apparently available in Boulder?

by: hung like a donkey

Sun Aug 08, 2010 at 11:56:19 AM MST

Last week a blogger wrote about a bizarre and very lame site which calls Romanoff (and now Jeannie Kaplan) a liar: http://www.princetonwritersgro...

First of all there is the racist undertone of elongating the noses of two Jews, but there also seems to be something eerily similar to the photoshop work on that site and this one:

http://twitter.com/alanfranklin

That would be the twitter account for Alan Franklin, IT director for ProgressNow, who apparently enjoys elongating photos of noses.

What an odd similarity...

For a supposed IT director,
his Photoshop skills are extremely lame.

Hey, do you think ColoradoPols will be picking up this story?

Hmm...I doubt it
I mean they used to just frontpage what progressnow "sent" them, but they seem to have stopped that.

I did post this over there too.  I wonder what kind of response I'll get.

And yes -- very bad job with the photoshop.  Perhaps he should go to take some community college computer classes.

I've heard that Alan posts on ColoradoPols from time to time. n/t

So,
If "ProgessNow" is what it claims to be, why does it interfere so heavily in our Democratic primary?  Why has the group been mercilessly (and, thank goodness, unsuccessfully) bashing Romanoff? Why not put those resources into the general election if the purpose of the group really is to oppose the right-wing/corporate agenda?

The whole "ProgressNow" thing does not pass the sniff test.  What is the group's true purpose and agenda? Who funds the group, and why?

Why is the group's website so extremely sketchy about what the group is and does? Why would such a crappy, bare-bones website as that require an "IT director" anyway, when a fifth-grader could handle that job? ...

OK, looks like
there's actually a little bit of somewhat substantive content at ProgressNow Colorado, such as it is. More than at the national group site anyway.

Curiously,
the blog at ProgressNow Colorado has only had one post since early April, and that post was on July 18, titled "Don't you hate 'Under Construction' pages?," a quasi-apology for the poor quality of the site.

Clearly, the IT director has been busy devoting his time and skills to more-important objectives during the primary campaign, whatever those objectives might be.

"Princeton Writers Group"
OK, on that lame website that is displaying childishly-defaced  photos of Andrew Romanoff and Jeannie Kaplan, if you click on "General Enquiries," it is an email link to: susan.chardon@princetonwritersgroup.org.

By coincidence, there is a Susan Chardon on Facebook. She has only 23 friends, and one of them is Susan Daggett, Michael Bennet's wife.
