( - promoted by Fong)

Denver Post is reporting that Hickenlooper is announcing his pick for Lt. Governor at 11:15am today.

Hickenlooper's announcement will be made at his campaign headquarters, 789 Sherman St. in Denver.

At least one source is saying that Hick's pick is CSU-Pueblo President Joe Garcia.

Anyone know anything about Joe Garcia?
besides being CSU President of course.

Sorry Michael Bennet, but I'm a real person too

He used to work for the UN, didn't he?

Lt. Gov. Michael Bennet!
;-)

I'm guessing Hick partially did this now to avoid that conversation
If he waited a week a lot of people would be pushing him to pick the Senate primary loser (which I agree will be Bennet)

just to clarify
Garcia is President of CSU-Pueblo.

I updated thanks.
I was writing quickly.

I hope Garcia debates Tancredo at some point
watching "Tommy the Tanc" get his ass handed to him by a Latino would make the debate that much better.  Maybe Hick can be "busy" that day :)

Sorry Michael Bennet, but I'm a real person too

Few things in politics aren't calculated moves
but i would like to believe that Hickenlooper made this decision from the goodness of his heart despite low Latino turnout. It would be nice to see a real campaign to increase Latino turnout. Hopefully Tancredo won't be the only piece of that campaign.
