A wonderful day in Aurora.  Hard at work on class assignments and cooking up Sweet potatoes in Orange Cups (sweet potatoes mixed with brandy, cream, orange juice and spices, then baked) for Thanksgiving Day pot-luck dinner.

Happy Thanksgiving from the High Country. (0.00 / 0)

Snow is promised, but I haven't seen it yet, in Edwards that is.  I hear it is snowing on Vail Pass.

Cooking today. Pumpkin pie, turkey with chorizo bread stuffing, mashies and gravy and most traditional trimmings and sides.

Heading to Denver for the Nutcracker ballet on Saturday with Daughter and Aunt.

I am thankful for our new President Obama, my daughter, family and customers who continue to support our restaurant. It's not an easy time for small businesses in our country. But, because of our loyal clientele, we will survive!
