Norton's Campaign Stands By Fear In The Name of Rebellion or Some Crap

Jane Norton stands up to (what teabaggers fear is) the tyranny of political correctness by standing by her fear-inducing advertisement. IMO, the most glaring problem with this is that it isn't Jane that's saying it, it's spokeslamb Josh Penry. Only Penry could, in the name of hijacking 9/11 victims' suffering, say

"If the people of Colorado want a politically correct United States Senator, they can vote for Michael Bennet. When it comes to our nation's defenses and the war on terror, we need candor and steel and resolve - not political correctness," Norton said. "The advertisement is not coming down."

I'm going to give Penry the benefit of the doubt and say that I don't believe he's stupid, he's just evil.

That aside, here is where you can sign the petition to join the chorus of people who speak out against the politics of fear.

The reason people don't believe in the Republican (Tea) Party is because they have yet to offer sustainable solutions to the barrage of problems we face. I look forward to the day when we have more intellectual honesty in policy discussions that pave the way to real solutions.

Here's the ad that will get you in your sleep if you don't watch it:

God, she reminds me of GWB before he was...uhm... elected??

You know you have problems with your own party
When Ali Hasan comes after you

Don't forget Fong -- this is the Republican primary we are talking about, and she's running against Ken "round 'em up" Buck.  She'll say just about anything to seem more conservative.  Sadly this might help her.

I agree that I miss actual Republicans that believed in things like small Government...we used to have grand debates in this country.  Crap I'm getting old.

Sorry Michael Bennet, but I'm a real person too

Ah yes, he shares some wisdom
Nothing has hurt the GOP more than Republican candidates who appear senseless or racist -- Jane Norton, candidate for the U.S. Senate, has managed to appear as both.

In a redesign of her campaign theme, Norton's Web site now carries a video that starts with the bold quote, "OBAMA DOCTRINE TO MAKE CLEAR NO WAR ON ISLAM -- REUTERS, 5.26.10." The quote plays over a chorus of dark sounds, communicating that Norton disagrees with Obama -- she doesn't want to go to war against 'radical Islam' or 'fundamentalist Muslims' -- no, Norton wants to go after "Islam."

I Know What You Mean
Nihilist candidates are nothing

Whats really worse?
Knowing you are evil or just being dumb?  I prefer to give dumb people the benefit of just not knowing, whereas smart people that go evil are just plain scary.
