| At Drinking Liberally Denver tonight we'll be taking a moment of silence for the loss of our forth amendment rights. It seems ironic that the bill just passed lets the administration off the hook for domestic spying beyond what the original bill allowed. That original bill was passed because of the domestic spying Nixon has Hoover's FBI do on his political enemies. Nice!
As a reminder, I'll be talking about this later today on the Mario Solis-Marich show on AM760.
Jamie Paton of the RockyMountain Post, or sorry, News is doing an article about basement dwelling, cheeto eating bloggers. He's bringing a photographer to DL Denver tonight as well. So, if you can make it in your bunny slipper best and want your mug in the paper, see ya there. I would say if you actually wear bunny slippers, the first one's on me.
I should also give the heads up that Mr. Uprising himself, David Sirota will be back in town next week. He'll be speaking at the Boulder Bookstore Tuesday night, and the Colfax Tattered Cover Wednesday night. You can join him for a drink with Drinking Liberally after each event. The water hole will be up to him each night. David's hectic schedule wouldn't allow a live blogging session here, but can do some non-live live-blogging. (Does that mean it's dead blogging?) I'll put up a separate diary tomorrow to gather questions and Sirota can respond as time allows. |
