Glenn Beck calls Fox Owner a 9/11 terrorist! He is going to get FIRED for this!

by: MinistryOfTruth

Thu Jun 03, 2010 at 17:06:06 PM MST

It finally happened. Glenn Beck has gone too far for his right wing owners. How do I know that? Because he just blamed 9/11 on one of the guys who pays his salary.

Watch the video here.

The guy Beck is blaming for 9/11 is one of his bosses, Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, who just happens to be the largest stockholder of Fox News who isn't a member of majority owner Rupert Murdoch's family.

Calling your boss a terrorist who is responsible for 9/11 can't be good for your job security, can it?

Transcript and more below the fold

MinistryOfTruth :: Glenn Beck calls Fox Owner a 9/11 terrorist! He is going to get FIRED for this!
Beck started his rant as a defense of Israel's actions against the aid flotilla to Gaza, but eventually began hypothesizing about if a similar flotilla was sent to Manhattan by Saudi Arabia. Beck said this had already happened essentially, when Prince Alwaleed offered $10 million dollars to then-Mayor Rudy Giuliani (R-NY) in the wake of the 9/11 attacks.

BECK: Didn't we almost kind of do that? Do you remember what happened right after 9/11 with Rudy Giuliani? Do you remember Saudi Arabia came and said, we want to help. This guy [pointing at Prince Alwaleed bin Talal al-Saud] came over and said 'I want to give you a $10 million dollar check.' Rudy Giuliani said, you see that over there? I don't think we want your help. You already sent us help. And you flew that help into the plane, into the the trade centers. The same prince later blamed the U.S. policy for the attacks. Giuliani said, take your check, we don't want your money. There is no way America, that if it was us, that we would allow that to happen. Why do we hold people to a different standard? [...]

BECK: We answered this question on the beating. We just have to be consistent.

Despite calling the first African American President in American history a "racist who hates white people and white culture" has yet to cost Glenn Beck his job.

Neither has losing most of his major sponsors in America and ALL of his major sponsors in Europe.

Yet the owners of Fox News do not care about that, because Beck has served his purpose, he keeps Right Wingers outraged and misinformed, at that is worth plenty to Fox News owners Australian multi millionaire Rupert Murdoch and Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal.

But now Beck has crossed the line that can not be ignored on the unaccountable right. He has broken St. Reagan's 11th Commandment, which is to NEVER attack or blame Right Wingers or Right Wing policies.

And yes, the rest of the non-Fox deluded world knows that 15 of the 19 9/11 attackers were from Saudi Arabia, and we know that the previous Bush/Cheney Administration walked hand in hand with Saudi Royalty. We know that, but the right depends on their base NOT knowing things like that, and thus, Glenn Beck has committed the one crime that might, and probably will cost him his job.

He called one of his bosses a 9/11 terrorist ON TV, and he even pointed his finger at a picture of the guy while doing it.

There are some things you can not do at work and expect to keep your job, even if you are a Conservative. You can't claim to be hiking the Appalachian trail while having an affair in Argentina. You can't sleep with the cleaning lady on your bosses desk ala George Costanza. And you certainly can't say that the number two stockholder in your company is complicit in the 9/11 attacks on air.

As ThinkProgress.org states it.

Without a tinge of irony in his voice, Beck implored his listeners not to trust any offering of money from Prince Alwaleed, despite the fact his own salary depends on him.

I can't imagine how Beck will survive this. I have wanted this fool fired for a while now. If this is what it takes to finally get Beck's Conspiracy driven daily 1 hour hate off the air, so be it.

We won't miss you, Glenn, and don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

Blaming 9/11 on your boss =  EPIC job security FAIL!

Couldn't happen to a bigger assclown.
