The average life expectancy has increased by sixteen years since Social Security started and even FDR probably did not intend for the structure of Social Security to remain untouched eighty years later.
You can tax the rich all you want but you can't deny that entitlements like Social Security are eating away more and more of the budget and will continue to do so until there isn't enough money for even the little welfare, family planning, and education programs you progressives love.
