How many elderly and infirm will Obama, Pelosi, Udall and Bennet give for Billionaires' happiness?

(Stolen from AmericaBlog. -z)

You better call all your reps folks, cuz these guys and gals are ready to cut Social Security and Medicare and any number of small but helpful programs so they can parade around on the teevee shows and proclaim they are Surely Bipartisan and there is Heaven on Earth, yea!

"This is a cut affecting every single beneficiary - widows, orphans, people with disabilities and many others."

"It is a cut which hurts the most those who are most vulnerable: the oldest of the old, those disabled at the youngest ages, and the poorest of the poor. Perhaps fittingly, this will be done during the holiday season, when the American people are distracted," says Nancy Altman, the founding co-director of the advocacy group Social Security Works.

"They will cut Social Security not openly but by stealth - through a cruel cut known colloquially as the chained CPI."

Representative Keith Ellison from Minnesotas affirms its stealthy cruelty.

This is what Democrats - and most Republicans - said during the recently finished campaign that they would never do.

The "both sides do it" television hosts will pronounce their names with Great Solemnity for they are Bipartisan!

Dutiful editorial writers will proclaim their bravery, "They saved us from the Fiscal Cliff!"

But what these cowardly, spineless, lying Democrats will really have done is betray their base once again. They will have rejected what voters clearly told them to do. And they will have failed in their jobs - both politically and on the best policy for Americans - because they couldn't, and wouldn't, do the jobs they coveted and were finally hired and trusted to do by voters.

Call these people now - after the vote they will never have the guts to speak face to face with their constituents again.

it's not just the elderly and the infirmed...
it is the '23 million' un- and under-employed Americans.  You remember those people don't you? The folks that so many politicians - from both sides of the aise - campaigned on...?

There are many more than just '23 million' un- and under-employed workers in this country.  And obviously those 23 million' are - and have been - nothing more than a campaign slogan; a means to and end.  And once that end is achieved, they (the 23 million) no longer exist in the minds of any lawmakers.

It's painfully obvious at the federal lovel, but I frakly don't see much difference at the state level.

if I could just write without typos above....
