Hancock uses Police to intimidate Democrats from supporting Occupy

The Occupy Denver lawsuit is about Democratic Mayor Hancock using hundreds of police and very minor laws in a constant effort to drive away Occupy's supporters, who, in the main , come from the Democratic Party rank and file.  The constant presence of multiple police cars there is a 24/7 warning to all supporters to stay away, Especially rank and file Democrats, who are the majority of attendees.

Actions against Occupy Denver by Democratic Mayor Hancock have caused the turnout by supporters to drop precipitously from nearly 3000 as reported by the Denver Post, to just a few hundred.  If that isn't evidence of a planned effort to shut down the protest, what would be?  Machine Gunning them, like at Ludlow, CO?

A couple hundred armed riot police would intimidate anyone. Does me!

It is hard to believe that even a Judge appointed by G. W. Bush or Mayor Hancock who recently met with Bush, or President Obama, who refuses to prosecute Bush for his admitted Torture, while refusing to defend Occupiers, cannot understand that Hancock's policies of selective enforcement of laws against Honking in Support and use of the sidewalk  all combine to restrict voter's most basic 1st Amendment Rights  in our public places.  No one with a belief in fair play would think that turnout hasn't been cut by Hancock's and Hickenlooper's tactics.

It is interesting that a large bold jump page headline in today's Denver newspaper reads "Occupy: Attorney likely to drop lawsuit".   I find it hard to believe that Attorney David Lane would abandon his clients when they have such a strong case.

Judge Blackburn himself recently ruled the Stolen Valor Act unconstitutional (in a case similar to Occupiers who claim Honking is Free Speech).  He ruled that a person who lied about being a decorated military veteran Is Still protected free speech.  http://www.denverpost.com/news...

Attorney Lane has precedent on his side.  The use of Honking and Honking Signs was declared unConstitutional by Detroit Federal Judge Denise Page Hood who ruled Ferndale MI Police's Ticketing of HONK SIGNS violated the 1st Amendment.

Judge Blackburn needs to see this effort of Hancock's  for what it really is... a coordinated plan to suppress support for Occupy Denver, especially if coming from rank and file Democrats.
