Bittersweet news. I'll be leaving the Denver Post, a place I've worked nearly 7 years. I've accepted the position of editorial manager at Glenn Beck's publishing company, which recently extended a joint venture with Simon & Schuster. I'll be acquiring, writing, editing and marketing manuscripts. Also, I'll be a columnist/blogger at Beck's site, The Blaze. The column will still be distributed by Creators Syndicate.

Honestly, I though the guy had more self-respect and decency than that.
Also, given Harsanyi's religious and cultural leanings, beyond his libertarian political views, I'd have to think that it would be a pretty hostile work environment for him.

The money must be good, because nothing else about that job switch seems to make any sense (unless he's about to be fired).

I Think You May Have Something
From what I'm hearing, Beck is not doing well with the ratings nor advertisers.  Does Harsani bring anything to help fix this?  I'm sure unaware of his ability to do so; but that's a "liberal prospective."
